The manual mentioned the ability to use individual track lengths as "MIDI CC LFO Wavetables". Knew I had to try it out, but I don't have many synths with CC controllability beyond mod wheel. Then it occurred to me, I have the GenMDM MIDI interface for the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive, and a brilliant controller for editing patches and hacking polyphony (using the same type of polymux that RK stuff frequently utilizes). Everything on the GenMDM is controlled with MIDI CC data, including patch changes. Recording and thinning/quantizing CC knob tweaks on channels and creating polyrhythmic LFOs is too fun. The RK-008 records this data happily (when there isn't too much going it at once). Can't wait to explore this more!
