Bit confused on NOTELEN values in RK008

This has been confusing me for a little while, but cannot quite get my head around the two value numbers in the NOTELEN parameter in stepmode.

What do the numbers before and after the / relate to?

(Apologies if this is really obvious, and I will duly kick myself if so)

If you see a normal 1/8th for example the note length will be fixed to exactly an 8th note.
if there is a - after it, the note will be a tiiny bit shorter and if there's a + it will be a tiiny bit longer. This can be handy on monosynths for example to let notes not overlap -or- specifically overlap for legato.

After that you have the Q_ prefix. This means the note length is not fixed in length but the length is snapped on a quantized time. I hope this little diagram below makes sense( a - is a 16th time unit length)

Hey sorry I am afraid I am still missing something.

For the purposes of this, say I am inputting a new note in Step mode. I have put my new note in, and I'm cycling the note info menu:

NOTENUM E 2 - makes sense
VELOCITY 064 - also fine
NOTELEN 000/01 - this is the bit I'm confused on, as to the relation between the 000 and the 01 in this case?

The manual doesn't seem very clear on what these two numbers specifically mean, or I have missed that bit, or (and this is likely) I am just being stupid and it's really obvious

Ah that's the event editor (ALT+MODE(StepEdit)+MODE again)
If you scroll through the event editor, '000/01NT D#4' for example, shows the beat and the amount of ticks first. So 000/01 means one tick after the 1st beat. One tick is a 1/96th note in this event editor overview you can push/pull notes/events on the timeline by clicking ALT+<< or ALT+>> . If you press REC you will get more details on the event
