RK-006 as a master MIDI clock

Hi,

Is there any other way to make RK-006 a master MIDI clock, than using the tap tempo? My setup is standalone, without DAW. I'm going to use Novation Circuit Rhythm as a monophonic sequencer for the other gear as well, but I've read that it's not stable as a clock. Is it possible to use a little midi file in a USB stick to indicate RK-006 the desired tempo? Or do I need to buy a dedicated MIDI clock? I'm new to MIDI.

Yes you can set a specific bpm in startup and define a controller to change bpm later on. It’s on the global section in the settings app/webpage. I will lay out some screenshots later on

grit Is there any way to disable Tap Tempo? It would be nice to be able to treat the button as a simple start/stop, and not have to worry about it thinking there is a tempo being tapped out.

So I'm just starting to produce. So far I've only synced Behringer TD-3-MO with the Rhythm as a master and it worked fine. The tempo on the Rhythm itself is steady. I also djay, so I think, I would have noticed if there had been fluctuation. I've seen two guys complaining about the clock, but maybe it has been something to do with their setup. Maybe I'm anticipating for a problem that doesn't even exist.

Has anyone used RK-601? The description says that you can "add tempo related MIDI messages to the incoming signals or button"... to a simple sync pulse! Sounds great! How does that work? Like options 'toggle' or 'resync'...?

Getting back to this... I have two projects. One with the same tempo throughout the whole set, so setting the tempo on startup works like charm. The other one has different tempos. Easiest way would be set it and then reboot between tracks, because we will have some speech meanwhile anyway, but then I have to keep my phone attached to the RK-006. How does that cc way work? I don't need to change tempo real-time, bit it would be nice to be able to do it with a midi keyboard's knob or slider, or even with pads +-1.

Tap tempo is disabled if you have a master tempo set inside the RK006 (you can do that on the settings page) If a tempo is set, pressing the top button will directly send a MIDI start or stop command.
