Recording midi FX’s

Is it possible to record midi effects to a track ? Since an effect is global (as far as I’m understanding the manual), it would be nice to record it to a track. So you can use a different effect setting on an other track. I guess you could record with a loopback from midi out to midi in. But can you route the effect also internally?

Definitely don't think you can. I actually never thought about recording in a loopback way, that's pretty smart. But the other day, I bought a power cable for my MMT-8 so I could bounce entire songs with MIDI FX to the MMT-8 and then backup back to the RK. Haven't tried it yet but I figured it was a solution albeit kind of funny.
