RK-008 Loop Song Mode Please

Love my RK-008, I really need to be able to make a quick arrangement in song mode four or more parts and have those four parts loop, not just loop one part as is the case now.
Last chat I had with Gerrit he said it was on your to do list, really hoping you include this in the next firmware update.

how would this work in the UI? Do you imagine some kind of 'Coda' marked to one or more parts? Or do you really only want to repeat the whole song? (which would be a lot more trivial :-)

Yes I just want the whole song however short to repeat please.

As for the UI, maybe an option in alt 9 for loop to be either a part in song mode or the whole song.

ah ok..yes a song-loop mode totally makes sense... we'll try to add that

meanwhile: there is a song-loop mode now: you can set a loop point in the song which will be used when the song arrives at the end (press 'REC', and then 'LOOP' to set/clear the looppoint) ; this is described in the (updated) manual : [https://retrokits.com/rk008/RK008_manual.pdf]

So, I love the loop song parts feature. Especially that I can go to the part I want as the start, hold down the loop button and arrow to the last part in the loop. (Correction... this doesn't work exatcly as I thought.. so... maybe add a way to define the start AND end of the loop)
You could further enhance this by adding the ability to set the number of loops until loop-exit and continue. This would allow for more complex, yet shorter song structures.
One possible way to implement this might be:
1) In SongStep Mode with Rec enabled, set up the loop with start and end parts
2) Arrow to the first or last part in the loop
3) press ALT+[number pad entry] to set the number of loop iterations. An entry of 0 (default) will loop indefinitely
4) Release ALT key to set value.
