Correct RK-002 firmware option at purchase?

I wanted to polychain the Behringer Pro800 and wondered which firmware option is best? Closest appears to be the MOD, former Volca FM (PolyMUX). Would you recommend this one and setup the PMUXCH and PMUXPOLY afterwards during configuration? Thanks a million, appreciate your help.

you can put a note in when you order it and I can put the proper firmware on it. I suspect it should be 2 devices round robin because you need to chain multiple devices which each have their own limited poly right? No problem, hope your Pro800s will play together niceley, Sending in to MIDI channel 1 will send out to midi channel 1 & 2 combined so if you configure the Pro's as such it should be good.
MIDI keyboard out -> [RK002 in - RK002 out] -> [Pro800-1 in ] - [ Pro800 1 thru] -> regular MIDI cable -> Pro800 2 in.

grit Hi Gerrit firstly, thank you so much for your help and marvellous service. I received the RK-002 and have installed everything as above with midi (channel 1) into the RK-002, then to Pro800 (a) (channel 1), with Midi Thru (on) connected (normal midi cable) to Pro800 (b) midi in (channel 2). At the moment i am getting a round robin of max 2 voice polyphony. If i hold more notes down on the master keyboard it's only until i release some notes that the next 2 notes sound. So at present i can't get a full 16 voices. My question is: do i need to modify the midi code on the RK-002 to allow up to a full 16 voices or 8x2 round robin? Thank you so much for your help Gerrit. Perhaps it is because of the voice reserve mode? I am kind-of-sure I set it to round-robin mode. You don't have to rewrite the RK002 code to change this but you can alter the settings from the duy portal link I sent above. You do need a midi interface to change it though. Connect the RK002 in-and-out to the interface out-and-in and change the 'POLYMODE' to 0

Thank you for getting back to me. I connected the RK002 to my Focusrite Scarlet 18i8 usb midi interface via Chrome web browser with the RK002 orange midi IN and black OUT. It's saying no duy cable detected and txt = inquiry operation time-out. Everything is connected correctly. I have tried to look at the setup in the Behringer SynthTribe interface for the Pro800 and everything is set correctly. I have tried yet again just in case and still only get a round robin of 1 voice per PRO800 unit or 2 note polyphony max. The interface is connected directly to the computer via usb and shows up for the duy midi connection in / out options - however, the RK002 is not being detected. Can you help me please, thank you so much

I know soome scarlett cards do not power the RK002, Maybe this is one of them.
Normally I would say connect it like this:
Scarlett out -> [MIDI device in - MIDI device thru] -> [rk002 in - rk002 out (orange)] -> Scarlett in

MIDI device being a synth with a hardware thru port which does power the RK002. Your Pro800s have a thru, but its a software thru and I',m not 100% sure they will forward MIDI system exclusive messages properly. Perhaps worth a try

grit Gerrit you're a genius !! Followed the above configuration through my ASM Hydrasynth and the duy recognised the RK002 immediately. Changed POLYMODE from 1 to 0 and bingo!! Thank you so very much!

O glad that worked, well now you got this working you can write anything to the RK002, also other processors but have fun with the PolyPro’s 😊
