I'm looking for a clever way to power my RK-002 on stage without using an external MIDI thru device. I need to connect it to the MIDI OUT port of an Arturia BeatStep, but unfortunately, only two pins are wired on the MIDI OUT, and I can't make any hardware modifications. Is there an easy way to power the RK-002 using a battery? PIN 2 (ground) is connected on the MIDI IN side, but not on the MIDI OUT, so it isn't getting power. Could I create a small cable with a battery for this? For example, would it be correct to use a 3.7V battery, connecting the ground to pin 2 and the positive to pin 4?
