Still have yet to figure out if I can use PolyMUX to send midi to my AX-60 and S612, I'm considering buying an RK-002 to make a specific script for this...if its even possible. To explain, the AX-60 (and other Akai analog polys) have a 13-pin Sampler Input, and there's a a Sampler In button that engages some sort of Omni Mode on both the synth and the S612, which mixes each voice of the sampler in with each voice of the AX-60. It's massively underrated, as it makes the AX-60 somewhat of a 2-Osc poly, as well as allowing for some interesting D-50 type of sounds (sample as a transient, with sustain coming from the AX analog voices. The way it works is once that Sampler Input is engaged, it does a sort of PolyMUX round-robin thing to the S612. It's hard to say how it really works or if it's really random, or technically round-robin, as you can hit a single key several times and the note will output on the same MIDI Channel. The issue is that when it is in Sampler In mode, it doesn't receive midi in the same way. So it could completely be a limitation of the CPU of the AX-60, however doing tests over the years (with an MMT-8), I have managed to get 6 voice chords to trigger over midi.

I'm wondering, if maybe there is a way to create an RK002 script that allows PolyMUX to be sent out via the Thru of the AX-60, into the S612, and then maybe it would allow the AX to receive midi notes as it normally does, yet still doing it's round robin/PolyMUX thing to the S612. I've tried with the new PolyMUX feature on the RK-008 but haven't gotten it to work. Figured I would reach out to you Retrokits wizards because you seemingly make the impossible possible with these type things.
